The Muncie Sanitation and Recycling Department will be starting our annual leaf season pickup in late October. Start date to be announced. For leaves to be picked up, they must be bagged in PAPER BAGS ONLY and placed at the curb on your trash day.
To help residents transition, we will be handing out FREE leaf bags this year at numerous locations in the community. Look for our recycling outreach trailer. Locations & times will be posted on Facebook & our website.

When leaf season starts, paper-bagged leaves will be collected separately on or after your regular trash day. Monday-Wednesday trash routes will have their leaves picked up on Wednesdays as time allows. Remaining Wednesday-Friday trash routes will be picked up on Saturdays during this season.
