Canceled: Muncie Sanitary District Board of Commissioner Meeting on Wednesday March 25th, 2020

Due to the COVID-19 Disaster Emergency Declaration, the Muncie Sanitary District Board of Commissioners has canceled the board meeting scheduled for Wednesday, March 25th, 2020 at Muncie City Hall.

Muncie and Delaware County have been impacted by the outbreak and spread of the COVID-19 virus.

The Muncie Sanitary District announced March 16th, 2020 that it would be closing all offices to the public effective immediately as a preventative measure to combat the spread of COVID-19.

The Sewage Utility Billing Department will be closed to the public during this time. Residents can make payments via several other methods:

  • they can pay online at munciesanitary.org,
  • they can pay via telephone by calling 855-984-1201 (this is a toll-free number that is open 24/7),
  • they can mail their payments to Muncie Sanitary District, P.O. Box 2605, Fort Wayne, IN 46801, or
  • they can place payments in the drop-box in front of City Hall.

The drop-box at City Hall will be monitored every three hours to ensure all payments will be applied to residents’ accounts within one business day of when the money is dropped off.

While the offices are closed to the public, all departments and services will continue to operate. Sewer Maintenance will continue to work, as usual, providing 24/7 services. Trash and recycling pick-up services will also continue to run as regularly scheduled.
