Employees of the Muncie Sanitary District Sewer Maintenance department were out early this morning doing routine semi-annual maintenance and clean out of the drains and inlets located in the underpass on Madison Street. This maintenance is done in the early morning to avoid disturbing traffic and lanes were briefly reduced from four to two. If you see our crews out doing this work please use caution and drive slowly to help keep them safe. Thank you for your cooperation.
