You can drop off your used Christmas trees at the following locations: Heekin Park, Westside Park and McCulloch Park. Used Starbucks Cups Can Be Recycled into New Ones

Nov. 30 -- A recently completed pilot project shows that used Starbucks paper cups can be recycled into new paper cups, the coffee company said. The project, which included International Paper and Mississippi River Pulp LLC, brings Starbucks closer to its goal of ensuring that all of its cups are reusable or recyclable by 2015, the company said.

What To Do With Your Leaves

I would like to take this opportunity to remind citizens not to blow or rake their leaves or grass clippings to the street. This creates sewer issues for residents that could result in flooding of the streets and/or houses. What we would ask is that if you see that your inlet is covered in front of your house to clean it off and to follow the guidelines
