We encourage citizens to plant taller prairie grasses and native plants bordering waterways such as ponds, creeks and rivers. This will help deter and scare geese because they fear a predator maybe lurking in the tall grasses. These native plant areas also serve as a filter buffer for pollutants in stormwater run-off.
