The People of the Muncie Sanitary Board
Steven Murphy is Vice President for the Board of Sanitary Commissioners. Steve has been an Attorney with DeFur Voran of Muncie since 1976.. Steve attended Wabash College and Duke University Law School. He has been a trial lawyer for most of his practice, representing a wide range of clients in diverse areas of litigation. Currently he serves as a mediator and arbitrator and represents several educational and municipal clients. Steve is married to Lisa, and between them they have six children. He is active at the YMCA and at the inner city church, Blood N Fire.
Mike Cline is the Secretary for the Board of Commissioners. He is a professional engineer, has recently been designated as the Muncie City Engineer and is a partner with the Engineering Firm of Hannum, Wagle and Cline Engineering. Mike graduated from Ohio State in 1976 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering and specializes in water, wastewater and storm-water engineering. He spent almost two years as the Construction Inspection Engineerat the Muncie Wastewater Treatment plant in the early 1980’s. Mike and his wife Judy recently celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary and have a daughter, Melanie. Mike has been active with Engineers Without Borders, is a mentor with a faith-based program that helps young men to be released from prison learn to become better fathers and is a referee for small college and high school rugby games in central Indiana.

Effective Immediately: The Muncie Sanitary District Board of Commissioners bi-weekly meetings will change to Thursdays at 10:00 am at City Hall Auditorium. The next meeting will be on May 2, 2013.
